Apple’s iPhone 17 Series
Apple has just announced its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and the new iPhone Air, which replaces the Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn't your style, but you still want to grab one as soon as possible, you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, ahead of the September 19 release date.
The iPhone 17 gets a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally includes a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the new A19 chip is faster and more efficient, especially when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a massive increase in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.
Camera wise, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and also more impressive.

iPhone 17 Colours
The iPhone 17 will come in black, white, steel gray, light blue, green, and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in colour options such as black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in colours including blue, orange and silver.
